empty promises.
12:20 AM
today i was in the lift in cineleisure with eeloong. the lift was super squeezy. there was this trio of middle-aged men talking rather loudly.
man with very little hair: i heard when we go to heaven we'll all look the same.
friend A: we'll all have the same face. i wonder what we'll look like then.
man with very little hair: yes! if we suey then tio some ugly face. the handsome ones will scold the ugly person. so unfair to the handsome ones hor.
friend B: ya lor! very suey. but then how do we recognise each other if we have the same face.
friend A: ya! then i won't know it's you when we meet in heaven.
man with very little hair: imagine.. you look the same as your parents.
friend B: huh then will we ALL look like a MAN or a WOMAN?
eeloong and i started sniggering a long time ago. i laughed so hard that i twisted my waist. eeloong twisted his back.
friend A: ahhaha funny ah!
friend B *laughs*
man with very little hair: *laughs*
and when our lift stopped at the sixth floor, all 5 of us bursted out laughing.
oh well. it was an amusing conversation.

and yes. today we wanted to watch "The pursuit of
happyness" (no typo there!) but some lame ticketing person sold eeloong the ticket for a 4:05pm show when it was 5:30pm already. awww there was no 5:40pm show. stupid yahoo movies. gave me the wrong info. but still, the cathay ppl were dumb la. 1.5 hours into a 2 hr show and u sell the ticket to a blur boy. EVIL. and the usher let us into the movie?!!! gaowei.
okay let me retell the story. we didn't know the movie was at 4:05. naively thinking that it was at 5:40, we went into the theater at around 5:45 and we sat down to eat our long john silvers meal. we thought the movie just started. 20 minutes later, (i wasnt done eating yet) the credits started rolling. i thought it was some kind of joke. i thought it was part of the movie -.-
but it wasnt! the show had ended. i was dumbfounded, then furious.
so in the end we went to complain and we got tickets for
"the protege" at 7:45.
it was a great show. quite lame (no, very.) and funny at times but the moral behind the whole movie was great :D
go catch it!
