hahha. i read somewhere that geminis know how to make people do work for them. yeah i agree. it's not like we use force on people.. we naturally have the "talent" to make people work willingly for us.

i think that's why i've become such a lazy person. cuz other people help me do my work. i'm not saying that i'm those kind who manipulate people. well maybe sometimes i have manipulative tendencies, but geminis don't manipulate people on purpose. i think it's in us. ha. i manipulate people every day. ha. BK +2. (bad karma +2). maybe that's why i get manipulated sometimes too. no, i don't get manipulated. i just follow people. i rarely have my own opinion. well i do, but usually i compromise.

i told pengsing just now that he shouldn't ostracise pl. lol. and... well i guess i made him feel bad by saying "you're just like the other guys afterall." well no one likes to hear that they are like the other immature guys.. sometimes we compromise our principles in order to blend in.. maybe in a class of 18 guys there are only 5 or 6 guys who are really mean..? but the other nicer guys just succumb to their evil prowess and start to behave in the same way. just to blend in? what's so good about blending in? i think it's good to be special. many people think so but we don't do so. sometimes it's better to stay hidden. saves us all the embarrassment anyway. no man is an island. i guess this is part of our survival skills.
this brings me to another topic. singapore's education system.. i think we lack creativity and we have to import foreign talent simply because singapore students are too afraid to think out of the box and behave differently. what's so bad about being different? you don't get good grades. your teacher thinks u're just trying to seek attention and be rebellious. your friends look at you and say "aiyoh why u dun do this.. it's so much better lah!" and us students become less outspoken.. in fear of getting alienated from the "normal students" when we express a totally fresh new idea. we are so used to doing things in the same way. it's like always A,B,C,D instead of B,C,D,A. we could very well get a better result when we do things in a different way.
i am a so called special student. however i don't feel special at all. why am i called special. it's such an insult. and why are other students called "normal", when us "special" students are so pathetically NORMAL. -.-
we need to do something about our education. we have to start now! =D ahah. my long term ambition is to become the minister of education. tharman i'll be better than u! (don't laugh ok.)
